De Wadvaarder is a pension and Bed & Breakfast. We provide modern comfort in a long tradition of personal hospitality.Centrally located between the North Sea and the Waddenzee, polders, dunes and forests, it is the ideal starting point for (re-)discovering the beautiful island of Terschelling. 
De Wadvaarder is situated in the village of Midsland.
On the east side of this charming village, there is a friendly shopping street with pubs and restaurant: the Oosterburen.
To the west, there are old farms underneath tall trees. In that tranquil part, the Westerburen, you will find us. The shopping street is located within walking distance. 
De Wadvaarder has recently been modernized. We have four rooms with spacious bathrooms with shower/toilet. The other rooms have a washbasin with hot/cold running water. The communal showers and toilers are in the hall.
In the back of our garden there is a separate room. This room is bigger and has more facilities, such as satellite tv, coffeemachine, waterboiler, refrigerator and it has it's own sunny terrace.
The breakfast room and living room are located at the garden end of the pension.
Each morning you will find a breakfast buffet here.
We use local produce as much as possible.  At night, you can relax in the comfortable lounge, where there is plenty to read. We also provide wireless Internet. Although there is no television, we do provide a laptop for general use. Drinks are available and we are happy to make you a tea or coffee.Weather permitting you can take breakfast in the garden. It is an ideal place to relax after a long hike on the island. De Wadvaarder is a non-smoking B&B. You can rent a bicycle at about 100 metres. We will be happy to book you on the ferry to Terschelling.
